Paying by Phone

I have a habit I need to break.  I pay the majority of our bills by phone.  I started doing this way before online bill paying was the norm.  Back then, the service was free.  Now each company is charging an arm ($2-3) or an arm and a leg ($15).  All told, we are paying an extra $24 a month in these fees.  I may take up online bill paying or I may revert back to the good 'ole days and embrace snail mail again.  Either way, I'll be saving some much needed dollars.
